ilicon carbide heating elements are high-temperature, non-metallic, rod-shaped electrical heating components manufactured from high-quality green silicon carbide as the primary raw material. The production process involves forming, high-temperature silicification, and recrystallization. Compared to metallic heating elements, they offer advantages such as higher operating temperatures, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, long lifespan, minimal deformation, and ease of installation and maintenance. Consequently, they are widely used in various high-temperature furnaces and electric heating equipment across industries including magnetic materials, powder metallurgy, ceramics, glass, metallurgy, and machinery.
Our silicon carbide heating elements utilize a novel cold-end manufacturing process. This results in an excellent hot-to-cold zone resistance ratio, leading to energy savings and an extended service life. It also prevents potential damage to the furnace structure caused by excessively high temperatures at the cold ends.
