Working Principle of the Resistance Wire Furnace Chamber

The resistance wire furnace chamber works on the principle of Joule heating (resistive heating). When an electric current passes through the high‑resistance heating wire inside the furnace chamber, the wire generates a large amount of heat due to its internal resistance. This heat is transferred to the furnace chamber and the working space in the forms of heat radiation, heat conduction and heat convection,  so as to raise the internal temperature of the furnace and meet the requirements of high‑temperature heating, sintering, drying or heat treatment.

The heating wire is usually made of high-temperature resistant alloy materials such as nickel-chromium (Ni-Cr) or iron-chromium-aluminum (Fe-Cr-Al). It is evenly arranged in the furnace chamber to ensure uniform temperature distribution. The temperature control system detects the furnace temperature in real time through a thermocouple and automatically adjusts the output power, so as to achieve stable and precise temperature control.
